Things I don’t usually say out loud
Lately, I’ve been feeling something I don’t say out loud much. I’m proud of the 13 books I’ve written. Even typing that feels strange, like I need to soften it somehow, make it sound smaller than it is. Not because I’m not grateful, but because I don’t want it to come across like I’m bragging, so I usually don’t mention it. But the truth is, I started writing these books around the time I found out I was pregnant—one of the best days of my life. And somehow, in the middle of all of that, I kept writing quietly, consistently, without really talking about it. Now, over these past few months, I’ve finally released all 13, and that number still doesn’t feel real. I think there’s a difference between bragging and just being honest about what you’ve built during a chapter of your life. I’m still learning that.
